  1. What's new in this club
  2. We've been progressing but failing to post kill shots, so here is some new ones! Onward to Eternal Palace kills!
  3. Probably start raiding next week. Pretty busy this week
  4. Greetings everyone, With the release of patch 8.2 last Tuesday, the new raid is approaching quickly and will open on July 9th. This means that it is now time to plan the roster for the tier. Please post here or let an officer know if you plan to be raiding with us for this tier. As always with new tiers, rerolls are allowed, but priority on roles will be given to people who want to maintain the role they had in the previous tier. Looking forward to seeing you in the raid group! Raid Leader Mort
  5. Greetings everyone! With the Battle of Dazar'alor raid releasing tomorrow, I thought I'd make a post so you guys know what to expect. As always with a new raid tier, we are likely to have returning players or some people who might want to switch to another character. There is no absolutely no problem with that, but keep in mind the following : Priority will be given to people who want to maintain the role they had in the last tier. The character you pick should be geared enough that it won't hinder progression for the rest of the group. With n

  7. Grats on the MOTHER kill team! Here's a picture of us.
  8. I have a work thing I have to attend in the evening
  9. I have to work tonight and won;t be back until 10:00
  10. Hey folks. I will be going on vacation soon and after vacation I have a work conference. Essentially, I won't be on again until at least 10/23.
  11. I won't be able to raid tonight or likely tomorrow either.
  12. I have a good option for this raid. Damage Mafia is a guild I run an alt in and they raid on Friday from 9:00 to midnight EST and Sunday from 9:00 till 11:00 EST. A great group of people that have a lot of fun and from time to time may or may not drink too much. They are 7/8 on normal and have alts from some of the top guilds on the server. This could be a great ATR Alt guild option and fit the times you are looking for. They already have a raid leader who is good and it is very drama free. They always want more raiders and are open to anyone who is cool or in my case just a darn nice gu
  13. I will not be in attendance tonight
  14. Ok I respect that. Thanks for the answer and for taking this to discussion. May be I can join you during summer time switch.
  15. While my personal stance is the same as Mastric's, after discussing it with the other officers, the majority was not in favor of allowing a separate raid team under ATR banner. As such, like Bash said, if you would like to lead your own raid team, we ask that you do so in a guild of your own. This has no effect on whether or not you're allowed in the guild, so should you decide it's no longer something you want, or if it ends up not working out, you're still very much welcome among us. Apologies for the confusion that might have been caused, it should've bee
  16. after speaking with the other leadership about this, we've decided that if you intend to pursue this, we are going to ask you to do it in your own guild. We've tried having multiple raid teams in the past and it has always caused more drama and problems then it was worth. It's nothing personal, just would be a better choice if you had your own guild for this.
  17. Well without bash approval I won't take any actions until something is defined. Our group is going to try Uldir tonight at 9 pm server time. If you want to join with your alts I will be very happy you tag along, my character for BFA is 'Torina'. Maybe we can even talk a bit more on how we can make a Weekend raid, what are the issues and if we can solve them. I talk to Ansky yesterday and he mentioned some very valid points: - Alts and mains on the same raid. - Possible friction between raid groups based on progress. - Do we have enough people. I also have
  18. I'll be on TS tonight on a random channel if you wish to talk
  19. You can bring your alts no problem the experience you have raiding is way more valuable that plain ilvl and neck lvl. As long as its feasible to kill the bosses as a group everyone is welcome. But again this is my opinion. If you want to set up a weekend raid only for mains or something like that just tell me. The group of friends I have won't have an issue with that. We just want to raid together in a friendly environment. If you were talking about doing a raid on the weekends how can I help to make this happen? Can we do a test tomorrow? Just see how it goes? I really want to hel
  20. Sounds like you want a second run kept separate of the first at a different time. I see no issue with that if it's the same ideals as our main run. The only issue you'd most likely see is main raiders wanting to bring alts, while you may have raiders giving it their all on their own mains.
  21. Ok maybe the attendance thing is actually not a good idea. My whole idea is to have a friday and sunday raid a bit later at night. I talked to Neoblack he told me a lot has changed since I stopped raiding. I didn't know this. And the way he described the only difference in the rules i meant is actually just the time and day. If its better for the guild to be on server time it's fine for me but since I have to be with my family during the day i was hoping that it could be a couple of hours later. And extend it as long as people wish later on Friday. If you want the owner
  22. Well as I said, the different rules are meant to be softer. More appealing to alts, people testing stuff or learning. The different time zone is actually 2 hours later where people like me that have 2 kids can actually fit in. Also its on a friday that allows to dedicate the night to raid without actually worrying about attendance. About the "core" players it's a list of people that normally come and want their spot on the raid because of their dedication. Everyone is welcome any day if there are spots available as long as they are willing to raid. I did tho
  23. I agree with bash. I was all for it until 'mandatory' days. We don't even have mandatory days for our main raiders, and starting a raid that's got even stricter rules (and a different time zone) just doesn't seem like a good idea. A second group welcoming alts? Sure. A second serious raid group? You'd need recruitment for your specific times and that would be better in a new guild.
  24. to be honest, it sounds like it might be a better idea to form your own guild for something like this, especially considering you want to use a different time zone and you want it completely independent of the ATR main raid.... that way you can have your own WoWprogress and recruitment pages....
