  1. Good luck killing the dogs next! They're ruff!
  2. Snuck into raid just to photobomb the kill pic.
  3. People don't have health bars, but yes, I mean that there are dead students. One died yesterday of injuries.
  4. Because of some heavy 'people being dead' things happening around here, among other important dates, I won't be returning to raid until November 15th at the earliest and November 22nd at the latest. Need to focus on other things right now and I need all the time I can get.
  5. I share the office with the other stage manager and we will also have two alumni coming in to co-stage manage as well so.. unfortunately I cannot claim the office for myself
  6. Work with the current production is becoming more intense as we start to integrate a system that closer resembles the general system in the working world. This does, however, mean I'll be going later than rehearsal the actual rehearsal end. Last night, for instance, I was in the theatre until 10:30 doing work in my office (I have an office now too!). So, I will be unable to raid with you guys until October 25th, which is after the show closes. At the point, I'll be back and able to make the full raid night from beginning to end as well.
  7. Nahnahnahnahnah... I mean yes but nahnahnah... I'll be on for raid later, once rehearsal is out. The coffee was really strong.
  8. A bit short notice but I can already say with certainty I won't be on for raid tonight. I'm too sick and need to put all my energy towards homework. Actually scratch that. Downed some high dose of pain killers and got me some coffee and I'll be raring to go!
  9. The Colored Museum is the first production we're doing that I am a stage manager for. The second production is American Idiot but I don't necessarily plan to do much for that one.
  10. Sorry about tonight, I had last minute issues within the theatre that had to be taken care of. But speaking of the theatre, since I am stage manager of the first show I will be late to raid consistently moving forward. Rehearsal will run from 7-9pm on weekdays. I don't know if there will be off days yet because we haven't gotten the calendar, but should at the beginning of next week for our first rehearsal.
  11. Sorry I couldn't give a heads up. In the last two hours, learned that my grandmother is getting her house sprayed so she, her cat, and her dog are over for the evening. Grandmother has different standards of socialization.. therefore, were I to be occupied on my laptop it would great frustration. That frustration would turn into arguing with my mother, which would then turn into a large problem in the household. I may be able to hop on when she leaves but I don't know when that will be. Sometime tonight, just not sure when exactly. Again, sorry I couldn't give a heads up.
  12. Going to be in Canada next week and I probably won't be raiding while there.
  13. Don't know if there is raid this week, but if there is I won't be available Tomorrow I'm going to see a play with my great uncle and Thursday I'm heading to Snug's place so... blame him.

    6/21 & 6/28

... no I don't. I joined on the premise of only raiding with them Tues/Mon. This is a temporary change due to the new raid.

For the next two Wednesdays, I'll be raiding with Stacked. It's their 'new raid special' thing that they've added that day for two weeks. Afterwards they'll return to raiding only Tuesday (maybe Mon) so I'll be back to raiding with you guys on Weds.
  16. To any in the guild who don't know (and I realize a few of you were taken off guard at me suddenly leaving), I've completed a trial run with <Stacked> and have left ATR to join their guild. At least I have left the guild on WoW so it won't appear under my name. If I could be in two guilds I would, but Blizzard says no. Currently, they raid Mythic NH on Tuesdays. Wednesday is for Heroic NH that isn't required for attendance. Preferred, of course, but not required. I'm not certain how things will change once Tomb drops but I know they are likely to move up to raiding twice a week. I would still like to raid with you guys when possible because I still enjoy ATR raiding quite a bit. I'm kinda hoping for best of both worlds to be able to raid with both guilds.
  17. I never intend to leave ATR fully, I'm mainly looking towards option that would allow me to raid Mythics consistently with another guild while still pushing content with ours. ... like a side bitch. Sorry if anything was unclear, yesterday we had to put down one of our dogs and I still feel strange about it. I also suddenly got a response from the guild Stacked about a trial run and had to make an immediate decision.
  18. I know this will be a bit sudden to all of you, but I'm looking into different guilds to raid with. Tomorrow I'll be raiding with another guild as a trial to see if I'm a fit for them. If I'm accepted, I'll be raiding Mythic Nighthold with them on Tuesdays but hopefully still be able to still raid with you guys Weds/Thurs. Currently, they only do Mythic one night a week although their leader has informed me this could change once Tomb is released. Since returning to WoW I have had fun raiding and for a while thought I would be satisfied where we are, but it's been stated multiple times how there isn't the intent to start doing Mythic raids. I've quickly realized that blowing through content without a challenge isn't as fun to me. Moving forward if I get accepted, I don't know if I would remain in the guild on WoW or leave to join theirs. I'd rather just raid with them on the side and stay in ATR because I have a strong hesitance to leave seeing how many people that do leave are never heard from again except in rare instances. At least, I never hear from them again. And I don't want to lose the friends I've made in ATR. I'll let you guys know how things go tomorrow.
  19. To summarize, things got a lot worse, but then they got spontaneously better. Due to factors out of my control, work that I should have had the full semester to do was crammed into the second half for my art capstone. Ended up on a schedule working 31 hours a week trying to finish it (along with 5 classes and a 15 hour job) and reached a point of mental and physical exhaustion that was becoming life threatening. But, worked it out with the college, so now I'm a part-time student (only in 2 classes) and will be returning in the fall as my last semester to finish my double degree. I'll have the summer off to relax and take care of myself to improve my health from where it currently is. So overall I'm doing a lot better now. The theatre show I'm stage managing is in production right now so that's taking up my time and energy. A few bumps but still going well. I may return to raiding soon but I'm not sure when it would be. Could be next week or could be a while still. Just wanted to let you guys know that things are going well now.
  20. I've started to mull it over and I've come to the conclusion I really can't raid right now even partially. Being honest with myself right now and what I'm trying to work through that I am not physically or mentally healthy at that moment. I'm trying to deal with an all-but-physically abusive professor that's messing with my head and gaslighting me (who unfortunately is the professor of my capstone class and therefore has a strong hand in whether or not I'll pass the major).. speaking of which I have to create a large body of work for that capstone that will require a minimum of 20 hours a week outside of class to complete in time.. stage management of a devised play written by the ensemble is 3x more work than a normal show and I wasn't really expecting that.. one of my peers/coworker has decided I should be her scapegoat for everything that ever goes wrong, which is making daily life difficult and borderline unsafe due to her anger issues, which from a recent email I got from her is going to make things A LOT worse.. grandfather is still dead and I don't have the time to go through the grieving process normally and keep having episodes of depression.. then the conferences, theatre competitions, job applications, class and homework I just.. can't.. right now. I'm not even in a good enough mental state to try and wrap my head around how many people have left raid or the guild or any of that without having another breakdown. I'm hardly eating or sleeping but I do have friends that will remind me to do that occasionally when they remember. I'm going to see counseling services if at the very least to see if they know what to do about my professor. When this semester is over or when the play is over I'll re-evaluate things to see if they're any better and if I can come back to raid but at the moment it's too daunting to think about. I'll be online here and there. I do seem to be enjoying the occasional Hearthstone game even though my cards are barely above the basic sets so you'll probably see me sometimes playing that but otherwise I doubt I'll be online in WoW at all. Sorry guys.

    ...

My grandfather is dead. They're both gone now. I'm probably not going to raid this week. Do tell me how many people have left the raid team/guild/community so I can better measure what level of depression I should be at for the next couple weeks, though.
  22. To be fair, I only include the relevant information for raid (Wed/Thurs conflicts). There is a show on the 31st and then the 1st of April and college is still a thing so...
  23. Didn't think it would take this long to finalize the schedule, but here's what the theatre schedule is like for the next couple months: January 25: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. January 26: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. February 1: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. February 2: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. February 8: Will be in Georgia for KCACTF, a theatre competition, and likely won't have time or good enough internet to raid (if any internet at all). February 9: Will be in Georgia for KCACTF, a theatre competition, and likely won't have time or good enough internet to raid (if any internet at all). February 15: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. February 16: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. February 22: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. February 23: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. March 1: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. March 2: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. March 8: Will be in St. Louis for USITT, a theatre convention, and likely won't have time or good enough internet to raid (if any internet at all). March 9: Will be in St. Louis for USITT, a theatre convention, and likely won't have time or good enough internet to raid (if any internet at all). March 15: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. March 16: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. March 22: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. March 23: Rehearsal from 7-9:00 PM. May make last half of raid. March 29: Dress rehearsal. Will likely not make raid. March 30: Full dress rehearsal. Will likely not make raid. April 5: Show day. Will not make raid. April 6: Show day. Will not make raid. With some notice, it is possible that rehearsals may run a little later than the scheduled time. For this production, it is a devised play, meaning that we are also writing the script. All that is set in stone is the title of the production and the director has some ideas of what she wants to get across as far as themes and plots go. I'll try to let you guys know as soon as I do if I'll be carried over. Keep in mind when I say rehearsal ends at 9:00 that I likely would not get back to my dorm until around 9:30 considering I am the literal last person to leave the building and I lock it up.
  24. I've had a meeting with her and we've gone over the schedule and I've managed to talk her into making a few changes to better reflect the environment of the college and the schedules that students have on campus. I'll have an update by this Saturday as to whether or not I will truly be 100% out for the next three months or partially gone.
  25. Our next theatrical production this semester is "State of Mind," a devised play written by students and the director during the course of it's production. For the 11/12 of this week, we are having auditions. Auditions are going to run from 8-10 PM each night (I don't know why there are two nights for auditions when callbacks are also Friday). I can't say for sure whether any of what she's sent me as a draft are certain in the calendar, but currently it looks like I just.. won't raid.. for three months. Contrary to normal Berea theatre procedures where the first couple months of rehearsal are just 5 days a week from around 7-9 PM (meaning I could regularly be in attendance of the last half of raid), this director wants to schedule rehearsal all seven days of the week from 7:30-10:00 PM during the week and 1-4 PM on the weekend. Our first rehearsal, in fact, is apparently this Saturday. I don't really want to use the forums as an outlet to vent about how this makes me feel but this news is kind of horrifying to me. I'll let you all know what the finalized plans are for the calendar, but this is what I know as of today.
